Aquifert trades and distributes water soluble fertilizers and micronutrients for high value crops.
Its core products are Calcium Nitrate, MKP, Potassium Nitrate, Technical Grade MAP, Kieserite and Zinc as well as the major nutrient products.
Mono Potassium Phosphate (MKP) 0-52-34
MKP is a fully water soluble fertiliser comprising potassium and phosphorous, recommended for vegetables, fruits, turf, vines and flowers. It is the most readily available fertilizer form of potassium and phosphorous.
Molecular Mass: 136g/mol
Chemical formula: KH2PO4
CAS No: 7778-77-0
Uses
- Agricultural chemicals (non-pesticidal)
- Agricultural products (non-pesticidal)
- Lawn and garden care products
- Corrosion inhibitors and anti-scaling agents
- Intermediates
- Adhesives and sealants
- Paints and Coatings
- Paint and coating additives not described by other categories
- Plating agents
- Surface treating agents
- Building/Construction materials
Benefits
- Application is beneficial at the early productive stage when phosphorus and potassium are most needed at high rates for the establishment of the root system in sugar-rich fruit crops.
- ssasadsad
- MKP helps increase their sugar content and improve the overall quality of the crop.
- MKP can be applied in combination with other fertilizers to ensure all the nutritional needs are met throughout the growth cycle
- MKP’s high purity and high water-solubility make it an ideal fertilizer for fertigation.
- MKP rapidly dissolves completely and remains in solution ready for the root to absorb or to be taken in via leaf surfaces.
Packaging Options
- Flexible packing options bulk, 25kg, 50kg, 600kg or big bags
- On or off pallets
- Buyers’ markings are available, if minimum order quantity is purchased
Calcium Nitrate
Calcium Nitrate helps with cell formation and neutralizes acids to detoxify the plant. The nitrogen component, as nitrate nitrogen is also responsible for fuelling protein production and is essential for creating a leafier growth. The Calcium in CN binds the cells together and plays an important role in the cell structure.
Molecular Mass: 236.15g/mol
Chemical formula: Ca(NO3)2 or CaN2O6
CAS No: 13477-34-4
Uses
- Fertigation
- Latex coagulant
- Concrete manufacture
- Medicinal purposes in cooling baths
- Solar power plants (heat transfer fluid instead of thermal oil)
Benefits
- Fruits and vegetables stay fresher for longer before starting to break down/lose weight
- Insufficient calcium leads to weaker cell walls and eventually cell collapse. Calcium Nitrate makes the crop less susceptible to diseases.
Packaging Options
- Flexible packing options bulk, 25kg, 50kg, 600kg or big bags
- On or off pallets
- Buyers’ markings are available, if minimum order quantity is purchased.
Kieserite (Magnesium Sulphate Monohydrate)
Kieserite Granular is an excellent source of fast-release magnesium and sulphur, both of which are present in their water soluble form. The sulphate form releases the magnesium to the soil over a four to six-week period.
Kieserite is not suitable for fertigation or foliar application
Molecular Mass: 139g/mol
Chemical formula: H2MgO5S
CAS No: 14567-64-7
Uses
- Cropping
- Horticulture
- Market gardening
- Maize production.
Benefits
- Ideal for correcting deficiencies in crops
- Suitable for all types of crops and soil
- Alleviates acute magnesium deficiencies in high-value crops, such as horticultural crops.
Deficiency in magnesium is common in tomatoes, apples, grape vines, raspberries, roses and rhododendrons.
Packaging Options
- Flexible packing options bulk, 25kg, 50kg, 600kg or big bags
- On or off pallets
- Buyers’ markings are available, if minimum order quantity is purchased.
Potassium Nitrate (NOP)
Potassium Nitrate is commonly used as a fertilizer for high-value crops that benefit from nitrate nutrition and a source of potassium free of chloride.
Both N and K are required by plants to support harvest quality, protein formation, disease resistance and water-use efficiency. Therefore, to support healthy growth, farmers often apply NOP to soil through the irrigation system during the growing season.
Molecular Mass: 101g/mol
Chemical formula: KNO3
CAS No: 7757-79-1
Uses
- NOP should be added to the soil before the growing season or as a supplement during the growing season
- Top dressing: Sprouts, cauliflower, brassica vegetables, cabbage and potatoes
- Main crops: Flowers, vegetables, strawberries, soilless culture, (indoor and outdoor), tobacco, potatoes, fruit trees, grapes, citrus, pineapples, cotton, bananas, mango, olives, home gardens and lawns
Benefits
- Source of nitrate nutrition and potassium free of chloride
- Support harvest quality, protein formation, disease resistance and water-use efficiency
Packaging Options
- Flexible packing options bulk, 25kg, 50kg, 600kg or big bags
- On or off pallets
- Buyers’ markings are available, if minimum order quantity is purchased.
Technical Mono Ammonium Phosphate (TMAP) 12-61-0
TMAP has a high nutrient content in both phosphorus (P2O5) and nitrogen (NH4). The product is an ideal base for fertigation program.
TMAP is recommended for use at the beginning of the growth season, when phosphorus availability is crucial for the establishment of the root system. TMAP can be used as the sole phosphorus source for the complete crop cycle.
Molecular Mass: 115.025g/mol
Chemical formula: NH4H2PO4
CAS No: 7722-76-1
Uses
- Hydroponics, drip systems, low throw sprinklers, centre pivots and spray units
- Ideal for alkaline soils
- Main crops: Vegetables, apples, apricot, blackberries, blackcurrants, blueberries, cherries, flowers, turf and ornamentals.
Benefits
- Fully water soluble, dissolves quickly in water without any residue
- The preferred nitrogen source for most horticultural and high-value agricultural crops
- Suitable for application through all fertigation systems
- Ensures quick start of the crop
- Phosphorus in TMAP can be used to prevent plants from aborting fruits
Packaging Options
- Flexible packing options bulk, 25kg, 50kg, 600kg or big bags
